Todays lesson was another looping theory session with the intention to get the video onto us. The instructors were feeling a little guilty as the wind had kicked in with a vengeance after the hire kit was locked away and they'd all sailed until dark whilst we watched (though it was impressive). The upshot was that they were at our beck and call.

The wind went cross shore at 12 (quite early) and I was fully powered up on a Kombat 85 and a 4.7 for an hour or so. The wind died off and there were boards stranded all over as it switched off shore. We waited but it got stronger off shore (and gustier) so I decided to try out the Tabou Manta speed board with a 6.5 for some blasting next to the shore. Unfortunately there wasn't enough constant wind to get the measure of it but it was incredibly light and quick to accelerate.

Retired to the bar again slighty troubled by the off shore direction and it's impact on the last 2 days.
